This was a very cute, steamy paranormal rom-com about a witch who accidentally summons a demon. There were some very cute scenes, and I liked her friend crew (I‘m guessing they get their own books?). I didn‘t love the moms who were very cringy and over the top mean to the point of caricatures. Still a fun read. 4⭐️

A very entertaining family drama/thriller with some very great writing. Siblings return home upon their mother‘s death and unlock so very dark family secrets. This was a fast paced read and refreshing as I‘ve read a number of meh books lately. I did have a guess at the ending though so 4.5⭐️

Also this Barnes & Noble special edition is so cool!

This book is absolute chaos and I was totally lost at times. At some point I want to reread the whole series and I think I will follow this better. It is still an entertaining book and a fit end to Jade‘s story. I won‘t say much more as it would all be spoilers. If you are a horror movie fan, I highly recommend this series. 4⭐️

This was fine, it just was rather slow and I never felt that connected to either main character. It felt between a romance and a horror and historical fiction, never fully connecting to any of those genres. The writing is beautiful though. 3⭐️

The final Bergman family book and I‘m sad we are done with this special, sweet and loving family and the partners they find along the way. This one featured the romance loving brother Viggo and Tallula, the sister of a previous book character. This is full of fun tropes and once again has positive mental health rep. It did not hit me as hard as some of the previous but I really did enjoy it. 4⭐️

Bailing at 50% The Magic system is interesting, but the main character isn‘t very interesting and this is just a bunch of typical YA tropes. Also, I was 50% in and virtually nothing had happened.

This was a solid supernatural mystery. A couple gets lost on their honeymoon, stops to help a stranger who is injured and falls into a decades old mystery. It was a touch predictable, but I still enjoyed the journey. 3.5⭐️

I liked this, it was solid. I really liked the Michigan location, being a lover of Northern MI. It started very strong, I liked the jilted ones becoming roommates and friends then falling in love. However, deeper parts of the story didn‘t quite go as far they could have. Also note that this is slightly steamer than the author‘s previous works. Also, unlike the last book, this is definitely a romance. Overall, one her more fun reads. 4⭐️

I have liked if not loved this series, and this was just ok. It just didn‘t flow well between the suspense and the romance. It also felt much longer than it actually was, so it took me a while to finish it. The ending was nice even though it felt everything wrapped up very quickly. 2.5⭐️

I really enjoyed this new release. It is not what you might expect, this is more historical fiction than anything else, with a romance, some magical realism and a mystery. Taking place in the Spanish Golden age, which is not a time period I read before. I don‘t like giving many details, as going in mostly blind to books always is the best experience for me. Just note this is not “Romantasy”, so don‘t go in expecting that. 4.5⭐️

Told in a series of interviews, this tells the horrific story of what could happen if a bunch of young adults are stranded in an amusement park during a hurricane. It definitely draws inspiration from Lord of the Flies. There are some plot holes and everything goes wrong far too quickly, but overall a solid quick read. 3.5⭐️

Though a little slow paced, I enjoyed this new historical fantasy romance. Based on Viking mythology a woman who is fated to help win wars struggles through all the men manipulating her.
