pickThis book is amazing and I‘m not sure I can fully explain why. There‘s something about the writing and its snarkyness, the bored stay-at-home mothers and the overworked fathers. And the title as amazing
pickFrom the very beginning I felt tense , had butterflies. I loved the desert setting. I loved the surprises along the way , Thankyou @vivastory for recommending I go in blind… I went in knowing nothing and it made all the difference. I was fascinated as the story unfolded and at the draw , the force , that brought certain characters together. What an excellent book. I‘ll definitely try In A Lonely Place next.
1. We did not have a library in the town where I grew up but I loved the monthly visits from the from the bookmobile (a converted passenger bus)

pickSummer has finally arrived in the uk 🇬🇧 hooray 🙌🏻after all therain ☔️ lucky enough to spend the afternoon in the garden with mollie moonbeam & finish this wonderful book.Persephone do it again what a beautifully written story this is,sad to say I‘d never heard of SianJames Iv since googled &loved the preface by Emma Schofield. Thank goodness forPersephone highlighting these forgotten wonderful authors so their workwill neverever be forgotten
Current read, one of the #persephonebooks i picked up in the wonderful shop in Bath . So far it lives up to the hype, the writing is just beautiful it‘s simply a lovely ☺️ book uncomplicated and a joy to turn each page #forgottenauthors #persephone #sianjames #litsylove i think all would enjoy it
