Yesterday got out of hand so I‘m sharing last week‘s joys late:

1) son‘s band, The Rovers, played its final song together at one of their graduation parties. Son is looking like a rockstar with his sunglasses and electric guitar
2) building LEGO‘s with my kids
3) another visit to the Venezuelan restaurant with my fam (pastelitos & arepas)
4) my tomatoes are turning red!
5) gorgeous COOL Friday morning on the patio at our lakehouse

1. Two of my best friends came to visit.
2. Enjoyed a delicious chicken cheesesteak.
3. Finally got to watch Oppenheimer.
4. Found a great frying pan to replace my old pan.
5. Got to talk to my sister for a couple hours.

OK friends, I‘m late to #5JoysFriday 💛 Got home from my work trip to Maui last night, ate the takeout my coworker asked to stop for, thought I‘d rest for a minute & feel asleep. So here are my joys for a busy week. I look forward to reading your joys today/tonight. 💛

1) I don‘t like to take steroids & antibiotics but I find joy in breathing & after a 2nd dose of them, I am & was able to facilitate yesterday.💨

I realized as I was falling asleep last night that I‘d forgotten to share my joys for the week.

💛 My pets travel well together.
💛 I came home to the family farm and helped put up hay, which officially makes it feel like summer.
💛 I spent my first two full days outside doing farm work and managed not to end up sunburnt.
💛 I spent time with my niece and nephew.
💛 These beautiful flowers are in my dad‘s yard.

1. My classmates in my master‘s program are always super encouraging. We pull each other through each assignment.
2. We‘ve had great weather at lunch, perfect for walking.
3. I‘ve enjoyed all the cat manga I read this week.
4. Chatted with 2 great friends today. I always feel uplifted talking to them.
5. I am off for 2 weeks! 😎

1. I just completed my first virtual trail and it only took me 6 days. It‘s from this game called Walking Planet that tracks your steps and your steps give you energy to walk the virtual trails.
2. I saw this little critter at the dog park. I felt it crawling on my leg. It felt fuzzy.
3. I bought these portable fans on Amazon.
4. My favorite reading challenge is back for the summer.
5. I‘m participating in the #20in4 readathon.
