An (Un) Romantic Comedy | Phoebe MacLeod
Mehso-so

No complaints exactly but it didn't have me totally sucked in. Although I like the ending. A few other books by Phoebe MacLeod do look good aswell so I might give them a read at some point

The Reading List: A Novel | Sara Nisha Adams
Pickpick

This book is actually amazing. I was thinking it was a book about how powerful books can be but it's so much more than that!

I was literally in tears at the end, probably the first book that's ever made me cry, I lost my nan 6 months ago so I relate to the main character Mukesh a lot and maybe books really do come to you at the right time.

I didnt know it was part of a series until I was near the end so that was disappointing but I generally enjoy the book and the story line and ending. But the fact that she has famous people popping out of her magical sofa kind of ruined it for me.

Sorry its boring. They continuously repeat things and it feels like they're just rambling along to fill up a book. I'll admit I got a few tips but that was just as the beginning and then its all repeated. Half way through now but just going to skip through the rest to see if I can manage to drag anything else out of it.

Only read a few pages but I love it and I love the way he writes - he talks my language! Haha. I feel mentally stuck in a rut and really think this book is going to do me the world of good!

Honestly love this book so much!! Being a PCOS sufferer myself it was so good to read something with a suffering character.. I couldnt believe it when I realised she has the same thing as me and it has already made me feel better about myself. Its a very powerful book, I had such vivid images of it and felt so stuck in it, it was like watching a TV series!

Honestly, at first i could not get into it much and it was only due to boredom that i forced myself to finish it. But then it gets so good, i am so happy with the ending😁😁

It wasn't one that I couldn't put down, until towards the end. I was mord interested im Flora's relationship with Dorothea rather than the love story itself. But I did love the ending!

On to this one, Love it! Already over half way through, I would've finished it by now but I haven't had the time, and i kinda don't want it to end anyway.

Just finished reading this. I enjoyed it enough to finish reading it but i just didnt really like the ending I would have liked to read more about them together. But the dates were funny and definitely resemble real life dating.
