Not sure how I feel about this one. The plot was fast paced but in a hectic way and we kept getting introduced to new characters. It was entertaining and I enjoyed the archaeological aspect of it but I‘m not sure if I‘ll pick up the second one.

A fast-paced heist book with a really interesting magic system. The characters where also very likeable. I can‘t wait to find out more about the world and it‘s history, will definitely be picking up the second book when it comes out!

Just as fun as the first one and left me excited to find out more about the world. One issues was that some big reveals didn‘t seem to get the reaction you would expect. Overall though a strong sequel.

Fun middle grade read, and good plot. I found myself very excited to find out what happens next. Only one frustrating aspect was the lack of communication with adult figures regarding important aspects of the plot that you often find in middle grade reads. However, it didn‘t lessen my enjoyment over the story as a whole!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, much to my surprise.
I don‘t usually read multiple pov‘s because I usually end up disliking one or more of the characters. However, I ended up enjoying all pov‘s. Can‘t wait to read the rest of the series.

A nice easy read to start the new year, though some aspects of the story were a little bit frustrating.
