Because I have to buy a book whenever I'm in Hamburg (or, well, whenever I'm not at home), and because I finished The Silkworm yesterday, I just bought Career of Evil. It was the easiest book buying decision in a long time and I can't wait to start reading it.

Bookish_AF I really enjoyed all of these and am currently doing a re-read of them myself! 7y
obvsbookish @nestlera Are they equally good this time around? I'll probably reread them too, at some point, to look out for clues I didn't see the first time. 7y
Bookish_AF Yes! It's also been so long since I read them, that I really don't remember all the minute details so it's almost like reading it for the first time. I just started The Silkworm. I think I may remember more of Career of Evil when I get to it since I read it more recently. 7y

Pickpick

Finished it yesterday, actually and I really liked it. At first I thought it was going to be even better than The Cuckoo's Calling, but now I'm not so sure anymore which one I like the most. They are both pretty good, though, that's for sure.

Because reading 3 books simultaneously works the best for me, I started The Silkworm yesterday as well. So far I like it even better than The Cuckoo's Calling - what about you, do you have a favourite in the series?

Another one of those books I bought and didn't read then.. It seems a good time to give it finally a chance.

Btw, I like how the colours of the cover appear because I didn't use flash for the picture; that's why I used this one..

Pickpick

When it first came out I wasn't sure whether it'd be something for me, because I'd heard so many mixed things - but now I'm glad that I've read it and will definitely read the sequels!

It had been the collision of two people with an unhealthy need: I gave him tissues, he asked me out to dinner.

TCC is one of those books that I wanted to read when it was first published and then just didn't. Now, that I'm almost done, I'm a bit sad that I didn't read it earlier. And I want to read more books in the next few weeks, or even months, that I neglected for years and give them a chance now.

obvsbookish @RaimeyGallant Thanks! I'm still trying to figure everything out, but it seems nice so far. :) 7y
