This is an amazing book.
Feynman describes his problem solving and thinking process by telling hilarious and surprising stories. He teaches himself how to crack safes, pick up showgirls, and solve complicated mathematical equations in his head. I learned so much.

Really, the best part of this book is Feynman‘s explanation of why textbooks are written so poorly. It exemplifies how bureaucracy harms education.

Oppenheimer is someone I had heard of but never learned much about. This was a mistake. He should be held up as the exemplar of science and philosophy. This biography details every facet of his existence, and its argument for how Oppie was wronged by the gov‘t reminds its readers that intellectualism and academia is always at risk.

I made fun of this book, and the rest of the 4 hour series, before I read them. I can say the principles I learned from these books have simplified my life and made it more efficient and productive; they apply to almost anything. This is a life-improving book. At times Ferriss uses jargon and can be hard to follow, but this is a book I recommend to anyone who will listen.

I‘ve heard so much about this book that I had to read it just to say I have. I can‘t say that I enjoyed reading it because it was challenging and never-ending and the prose is old fashioned. Still the discussions about the existence of god and morality are exhaustive and can‘t be beat. I have to say that One day I‘ll give this novel another shot and will likely enjoy it more having a faint understanding what will happen.

A great expression and explanation of mourning that describes how we make things make sense after losing loved ones. “Time is the school in which we learn” how to come to terms with what‘s left in life after death of family and loved ones. An instantly meaningful read for anyone alive.
