An interesting and illuminating juxtaposition of two very different people and two very different approaches to abolition. I'm a little concerned that I'm finding Brown--who was more than a little unbalanced and who was undeniably a murderer--a much more interesting and, in some ways, more admirable character than Lincoln, who was as much interested in his political career as he was in any kind of justice for enslaved people.
