Another fantastic book from this author. Let me start off by saying that although this is the second book in The Collectors series, this I not a follow on from The Butterfly Garden. We have a serial killer who kills girls every year in a church, he has a type that he collects and one of his previous victims sister is in his cross hairs. A great book, not so many twist and turns like the first but it still had me on tender hooks throughout.

This was a fantastic book that kept a hold on my imagination even when I had to stop reading it, which wasn't very often. There are lots of twists and I honestly didn't see the end coming. Great book, looking forward to reading the others

TBH I really struggled with the beginning of this book, I didn't connect with any of the characters, I consider ditching it. But I preserved and I am glad I did. This turned into an amazing book, which on a couple of occasions was heartbreaking. The main story is on Anya and how she survived living in Leningrad during World War 2, but it's also about a family trying to put themselves back together again. Well worth the read.

This was a good and say read. I have read many books on World War 2 but they focus on England, France, etc. It was interesting to read about a different country that I had very little knowledge of. The character in this book seems to have lead a very interesting life no the writer did well to present. However, there was occasions when I felt like the writer overstated the situation. Overall it was a pick for me, lent it to my dad to read.

All I can say is that I read this book in a day!!

This was an excellent read that is based on real events of the pendle witch trials and includes characters who were actually alive at the time. The writer managed to capture my imagination and kept me wanting to read more to know what happened next. Thumbs up and look forward to what the writer does next
