Seveneves turned out to be suspenseful and absolutely gripping towards the end of each storyline. However, the action takes quite a bit of time to build up and there is A LOT of expository detail early on. I could argue that there is so much detail about in the first 200 pages that it bogs down the first storyline, but without it, I believe the bigger picture would be missing something. My kind of science fiction. Worth the ending. 8/10.
