Bunce can weave a story that makes you feel as if you're right there in the book, going through every single thing his characters go through. You can feel their pain, their anger, their love, their fear, you get the drift? Right?

The descriptions of the beasts are so visual. The characters have such depth and personalities.. You're going between three different stories and it brings so much to the book.

Not my normal genre but worth it!

The characters are great. Story line is solid. My heart broke so many times during reading this book. I felt empty. I empathized with so many characters. I felt close to them. I was angry at times, you'll just have to read to understand where I'm coming from on my emotional levels wheb reading this book. It's so worth it!

A hard book to read due to subject matter but excellently written. It was interesting to read it from the view of someone who doesn‘t think of herself as a victim.
