It was always soothing for me to stare at graves...to be comforted by the fact that after so much torment, there will be an eternal place for everyone, whether rich or poor to rest... But it always made me question: why should we endure so much misery, while the consequence of our lives and struggling, whether orthodox or mischievous shall be death and all our achievements shall be buried with us or be inherited to another mortal being?

A true heaven for a Tiny Tim fan like me!!!! Full of amazing details about his professional and personal life...Could be categorised as a non-fictious novel.

I don't enjoy horror fiction, but I did enjoy the narration.

Excellent for those who want to have a taste of Ondaatje's poetic prose, but not his most excellent work whatsoever.

The character of “Jane Eyre“ transformed me into an independent, ardent individual who loves being educated.
I read it at the age of 18 and I just loved it.

Not bad, but not as brilliant as “The English patient“. Definitely worth being read once or twice though.
