I love reading Fantasy novels. It can be hard to imagine certain scenes, but I‘m currently obsessed with the Harry Potter series right now! 🪄

I didn‘t like this book. I had no emotional connection with the character and the story ends the same way it begins which leaves no room for satisfaction or a feeling of completion. The writing style was great, though. The fact that the main character was telling his story through progress reports the whole time keeps the tone scientific, which is the point of the book. I just wish that there was some sort of permanent growth in the character.

Mehso-so

I liked it, but there could‘ve been some changes. It was sad and the progression was pretty gradual, but the buildup led to an underwhelming ending. I liked the writing style and the concept of Death being the narrator. It allowed me to grow emotionally connected with the characters and get an unbiased view of the storyline.
