This was the first book in my back to reading challenge. It took 4 days and that‘s a mix that ends in not being fully invested. The idea of two people being connected over a span of their lives is interesting but it fell flat. Each character had complex backgrounds that seemed to negatively summarize to sex crazed, mentally ill, etc in a way that was unnecessarily bland in my opinion rather than a normal experience between 2 people growing up.
