(Unfortunately I don‘t have a picture for this review😭) I really enjoyed “The Poison Jungle” as It was an interesting view of the Leafwings- as they were thought to be extinct- and how to they survived the Tree Wars. I especially liked Sundew‘s character arc as she went from Hivewing hating, revenge seeking, angry machine to sympathetic caring dragon. This book was also an excellent recap for the newest book in the series “The Dangerous Gift”

The first bit of this book is a great sequel to the first. It‘s shows how Alex has grown from an uneducated teenager just trying to fit into a new school to amazing vampire killing spy; however due to a recent book being released that I have wanted for over a year I cut the book short and went to read the other. (Worry not I will eventually come back and finish this book)

Pickpick

This series was absolutely fantastic and ever lasting with 14 different books( as far as I know of) each filled with adventure, mystery, drama, and so many cliffhangers, oh the cliffhangers! This series was a huge part of my life and one of the main book collections that got me hooked to reading in the first place

Jack the Ripper | Michael Burgan

Michael Burgan‘s book is a great recap of the events of those fateful London nights and truly got me hooked to the story of Jack the Ripper; however this is a non-fictional book so if you came for a fictional story your in the wrong place.

Norse Mythology | Neil Gaiman

Neil Gaiman‘s book of Norse mythology is simply perfect, everything about it is fascinating, attention grasping, and just out right amazing. His writing of the story‘s are very well illustrated and he is very good at informing the reader of new characters and objects, I very much recommend this book if you like mythology or fantasy books.

The vampire growled and Alex whipped the weather vane over, smashing hard against her shoulder and neck. Alex watched her crouch there for a moment, black blood streaming where he‘d slashed her
She spat, “You do this a lot?”

Man! Reading this paragraph on the back of the book cover absolutely got me hooked and I am so glad I asked to try this book and for a book with only 249 pages it packs lots of action, adventure, detail and mystery.

So this is a second part to a book review I did on Alex van helsing vampire rising and it absolutely changed! The first few chapters are filled with action but mostly just introductions which can be a little boring but i must say keep read because it only gets better

I recently picked up a new book called Alex Van helsing, vampire rising and read about three chapters. I really like the idea of what Jason Henderson was writing about; however I am not a huge fan of how he writes, it‘s doesn‘t have the same easy going flow as other books but hopefully as I continue to read it will get better.
