Pickpick

I read Not Your Sidekick basically all in one day. It's a super cute story set in a post-WWIII world where, due to radiation, some people have acquired superpowers. Jess, the main character, is a canon bisexual biracial Asian-American (Chinese-Vietnamese) who feels like she's not good enough to fit in anywhere due to lack of superpowers, among other things. I really liked the plot and the book also features a canon f/f romance. Definitely reread.

Finished reading Lois Lane: Triple Threat last night and I loved it! I found it tied up things in a satisfactory way while not having everything be resolved with a bow. If you like Veronica Mars or Smallville, you will probably like this series.

Panpan

I read the first two sections of this book and I was impressed with what I thought the author was trying to do. I read through it, and the rest of the book doesn't match up with those first two sections. She makes it sound like she's going to help you establish your own personal style, but the rest of the book is a series of challenges she presents to help push you out of your comfort zone. Not what I was expecting at all, and I'm disappointed.

Hoping to finish Lois Lane: Double Down before I have to return it to the library tomorrow. It's amazing and I adore teenage Lois as well as her conversations with SmallvilleGuy. Has anyone else read this series? It reminds me of the two seasons I've seen of Smallville, in a good way.

I'm currently trying to figure out if I should stick with BookJunkie007 here (related to my Twitter handle) or change to teabookschill (my IG handle). Thoughts?
