Pickpick

This is a book that I didn‘t know existed until the library threw it in my face. THANK YOU LIBRARY!
I enjoyed this book so much. I devoured it all in one day. This is Ledger's story. And in his family when you turn 13. You either get a savvy or you don‘t. A savvy is a special ability. Ledge is about to turn 13. He‘s been dreaming of his savvy for his whole life and he wants the ability to run super fast. But of course life isn‘t fair.
100/10 ⭐'s

"If you don't read and worship these books written 20+ years ago then you're not a real reader." "And if you listen to audio books or like graphic novels instead of regular novels than you're not a real reader" Where did that stigma come from? Because no. Read/listen to what you enjoy. Fall in love with characters and quotes. And dive into whole new worlds over and over again until you get dizzy. Don't let anyone stop you.

Last Girls | Demetra Brodsky

The characters in this book are doomsday preppers. They spend their life preparing for any nuclear wars, apocalypses, and natural disasters. You know, all that jazz. I'll admit it I‘m the tiniest bit curious by the idea of any kind of doomsday situation. By the tiniest bit curious. I mean I spend a bit of time thinking about what I would do in that situation and what the world would truly be like. Can't blame me. I'm a writer, after all.

Peculiar Peril | Jeff VanderMeer

A peculiar Peril by Jeff VanderMeer is 656 pages long. Which scared me at first. Longer books haven‘t really agreed well with me recently. But I‘ve put of reading this book for too long! So I‘m really excited to start this book today.

After reading a few book reviews on goodreads this book gives me a mix of Lemony Snicket‘s Series of Unfortunate Events and Ransom Riggs Peculiar Children vibes…and I‘m so excited for that!
