Very good read! It's a visual journey and a wonderful thriller. Very interconnected plot lines. The ending makes the whole book and is so well written that it brings chills to your spine. Enjoy!

The kind of box to anger you, confuse you, and frustrate you in the most satisfying way imaginable. What an adventurous read! This book literally gave me chills as I finished reason the last sentence. It's just a fun read!

"People thought New Yorkers were rude, but really they were just leaving you to your own stuff.

It was respectful!

In a city with so many people, a New Yorker would always pretend not to see you when you didn't want to be seen."

Great read! It's one of the summer must haves. Emma Straub is able to write in a way that lets you visualize the entire story line as if it were a movie. Very modern novel with very modern issues and creative spins on contemporary society. It's 'deliciously human' and a must have for this summer.

Brilliant memoir that describes the conflicting parts of ones identity and the journey by which one person accepts it. The protagonist struggles with his sexual orientation as it relates to religion, his upbringing, his family and friends, and the larger society he lives in. Excellent!

"Minorities continue to be abused and manipulated by both nefarious and well-intentioned groups of people, and harmful ideas come to develop new political strains all over the world"

What a masterpiece!
