Out of My Mind | Sharon M. Draper
Pickpick

This is shelved in the kids section but I think it is a Great read for everyone. It lets you get into the mind of a young girl with cerebral palsy who is VERY smart although everyone thinks she's stupid since she can't talk . Then she gets a machine that allows her to talk and everyone incorporates her somewhat but not quite all the way .

I finally read this book, and it was really good.Q goes on the adventure of his life with Margo and she shows him the City that he's never seen, while exacting revenge on people. then Margo goes missing,he parents aren't too worried since shes run away before, and the cops can't do anything for awhile since she isn't a minor . Q however believes that Margo left clues for him to find and he goes on this journey to find her. The end is kind of off .

Does anyone recommend this book ? Could you maybe tell me a more detailed version of what it's about ?

MissDani I love this book. It has changed the way I interact with people. You follow the story of a girl who has committed suicide. She makes a tape and a list of 13 people who effected her decision. They are to listen and send it on to the next on the list. It makes you realize that you don't know the journey someone is on and how you interact with them can effect them. Sometimes negatively and other time positivity. I think it's a worthwhile read. 7y
Addy_or @MissDani Thank You ! Sounds like a great read now that it has a better breakdown :) 7y

I have read this book so many times , I think it goes deep about how the people we know and love may not live the perfect lives we think they do and how Cole was oblivious to the whole fact of why Oakley was silent .
