Fuck this book and all the praise it receives. Well, it‘s not the worst book I‘ve ever read but reading this was agony. The plot moves painstakingly slow and I can appreciate dialect interpretation, but my god, sometimes it is so hard to read. If you want a book where you‘ll have to re-read passages over and over to get the point, then I‘ve got a book for you.

A Streetcar Named Desire | Tennessee Williams
Pickpick

“A Streetcar Named Desire” is an absolutely stunning story of well, desire. Williams‘ depiction of human nature is raw and disturbing in the best way. I haven‘t found any other story that showcases the worst in humanity like streetcar. Would highly recommend

The Catcher in the Rye | J. D. Salinger
Pickpick

A book that encapsulates what mental illness truly feels like. J.D. Salinger‘s “Catcher In The Rye” is the perfect read for people who feel like they don‘t belong, or dissociate from the world around them. It‘s hard to put into words how much this book means to me, and by writing a review I‘m hoping to introduce this coming of age story with other people who might need it as much as I did.
