This follow up on the first book, the Fifth Wave, surprising, continued the previous book well, by adding more suspense. The whole book, I was on the edge of my seat and wanted to finish it in one seating. There were plenty of characters, and their alternating points of views, which made it simple to track the character traits across the book. Overall, it was a great book and I would definitely read it again, in addition to recommending it.
