tournevis @dixi_e The edition is a few years old but it's regularly reprinted. I think it's to do with the distributor since the publisher is French. 6y

BookishTrish I finished it. When I first read it years ago I read it in one sitting - like ripping a bandage off. Reading it over a few weeks was much more devastating @dixi_e 6y

dixi_e @BookishTrish This is a book that has hurt my heart since I first read it a couple (🙈) of decades ago. Rereading it only confirmed that the emotional associations (which lingered long after all the details) were accurate. 😭😡😫 6y
