This book is soooo good but it hurts my stomach because the reality of it is daunting. While readingI keep asking myself “would I speak up if this was happening?”
Right now immigrant children from Central America are in cages like the characters in this book. They are being round up with their parents and being separated by ICE.
What can we do to stop this from happening?

That-Bookish-Hiker @slajaunie that is so true. I had no idea they were separating the kids for their parents and keeping them in cages. I knew whenever they rounded up Mexican immigrants it wasn‘t good but I‘ve always been naive. My dad immigrated here from Mexico and I can‘t imagine the things he went through to get here and stay here. 5y
