pick🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 This was an amazing crossover story! I loved how it actually built on one of the conflicts that was alluded to at the end of The Kane Chronicles. Exploring the dynamic between these four was so fun, and I'm simply a sucker for crossovers of any kind. It could've been better, but overall it was wonderful.
pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a wonderful end to an amazing series! I'll admit I was mostly invested in the romance in this book, but a close second was all the magic! I'm a sucker for philosophical magic symbolism and systems, so I really enjoyed all the things about shadows.
Much less than I had hoped, but maybe next month will be better! I think my issue is that my reading schedule fluctuates with my mental health, so that's probably why I'm not finishing a lot of books lol.
Started this one today, and it's already starting out great! I love that they're already adding new spells and bits of lore.
pick🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Really good! This might be one of the first times I've actually enjoyed a love corner in a story. The magic system in these is always so intriguing, and I loved learning more about secret names.
pick🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 REALLY GOOD! I loved the ending. Rick has a way of connecting to the reader through his story, and it makes me want to learn Egyptian magic. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the reading slump it gave me and a few complaints with the storytelling. Overall wonderful and I can't wait to start the next book!
Finally doing #bookspinbingo for the first time! I'm a slow reader, so I'll probably keep this bingo board for a few more months after this. (Tagged is my current read)

I haven't enjoyed this series as much as others. I've been finding the characters frustrating and the romances are questionable
