pickI just finished this super-short (just over 100 pages) novel with an intriguing premise. Shawn has cerebral palsy and has never been able to communicate with his family, though he has a lively inner life. Early in the novel, he becomes convinced that his dad is determined to commit euthanasia to save Shawn from his pain. While parts of this novel are pretty dated, there‘s lots of discussion fodder here.
