pickI have loved all of Gillian Flyn's novels set in my home state of Missouri. I have yet to read a book set in KC! Dark Places partly takes place in Kansas City, KS....but that's not the same! Ask any born and bred Kansas Citian, KCMO is NOT the same city as KCK!!!
Suspense/mystery is not usually an genre I enjoy, but these are great. Sharp Objects is on my shortlist of TBR.
