Love love love this series! No12 in The Hon.Phryne Fisher Mysteries, this was fantastic. I loved the Paris 1918 parts, I loved the Hugh Collins part, loved the missing girl investigation, and love Lin Chung & his relationship with Phryne. The only thing I didn't love is that it's the last book I have, chances of getting to a bookstore are zero & there's no chance of getting an online order before xmas😫 #phrynemysterytour

No11 in the Phryne Fisher Mysteries, Away With The Fairies.Phryne is back in Melbourne after her Sydney trip, when Inspector "Just call me Jack" Robinson asks for her help in the sudden death of Miss Lavender,a writer & illustrator of fairy stories. Whilst working undercover at the women's magazine she wrote for, Phryne is also concerned about the whereabouts of her lover, Lin Chung, who is missing in China on a silk buying trip.#phrynemysterytour

I'm already a huge fan of The Hon. Phryne Fisher, so this, the 9th in the series, didn't disappoint. I love books that teach us something as well as entertain, this book has a lot of knowledge about Jewish customs & culture and it also prompted me to read up and learn more. I think if we all learnt more about each other there would be less hate in the world. The unknown is only scary until it is known. #phrynemysterytour

Texreader I completely agree!! 7y

I've decided to give Dame Agatha a rest for now, but continuing in the same vein with Australia's younger & feistier version of Miss Marple, but much less of a "lady". Phryne is drawn into the world of Yiddish, rabbis, kosher dinners & Kadimah when she's asked to investigate the death of a devout student in Miss Sylvia Lee's bookshop. #phrynemysterytour

PatriciaU Phryne Fisher is magnificent! Have you watched the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries? 7y
