mavey @Enchanted_Bibliophile Yeah😍! Alina and Nikolai ended up being Jo and Laurie for me. I liked Mal towards the end but will always wonder about the what-if's. Can't wait to read King of Scars! 3y

Enchanted_Bibliophile I was also disappointed when she and Nikolai didn't end up together. I was not a fan of Mal at all, he was too whiney. He did redeem himself somewhat in the end, but I still felt Alina could have done better. 3y

mavey Yeah, I wanted her to be the Queen too. I was hoping till the very end that Alina and Nikolai would find their way to each other but kind of suspected that she and Mal would end up together eventually as all the 3 books feature 'The boy and the girl' in the prologues and epilogues. Let's hope Nikolai finds an equally good and stronger woman! 🤞 3y

If you're reading a book that's 850 pages long, at what point do you start to feel you're "almost to the end?" For me, it's usually about 200 pages left. Which could be the entire length of a different book. #perspectiveiseverything #doorstop #ilikebigbooks

cariashley I'd agree, 150-200 for really long books like that. I do a lot of staring at the spine exactly like you're doing in this picture throughout though! 7y

EvieBee That's true. I keep doing that bookmark test where I can get a birds' eye view, and when it looks about 75% done, I feel like I'm making progress. That looks about 90% finished to me! 🤓 (edited) 7y

JanuarieTimewalker13 Hahahahaha! I'm so happy I'm not alone in my book craziness!! I think for my edition of IT, I'm going to call 200 pages as almost over. lol I'm starting to get fidgety now... 7y
