You have until Tuesday, June 12 at 8pm EST to enter the #oopsgiveaway for a chance to win the tagged book. In a separate post, tag a book that surprised you...it could be in a good way or a bad way. I‘ll announce the winner on June 13!

SUPRISE! SUPRISE!. | Agatha Christie

Thank you @Librarybelle for your #oopsgiveaway

This has happened to me before so I decided to mooch away my other copy on bookmooch!

A book that surprised me is #thinktwice by Lisa Scottoline. It was well recommended but sadly I hated it! I almost did not finished it.

Librarybelle Thank you for entering! It‘s always a let down when a book you wanted to read from a favorite author is not up to expectations. 6y

This is a recent ARC, and TBH I almost didn‘t read it. I was expecting fluff and erotica (which is not really my thing). However it was surprisingly deeper and richer than I expected, with characters that I really came to care about and root for. Glad I gave it a try!
Thanks for the offer of the #oopsgiveaway! Very generous of you. 😊

@Librarybelle

Librarybelle Thank you for entering! I skipped this month‘s #BOTM , but had I selected, I would have picked this book. I may need to read this after all... 6y

A Man Called Ove: A Novel | Fredrik Backman

Unexpected Love: Before the hype got going for this book and the author, our book club selected Ove when a member heard from a friend of a friend of a friend, etc. that it was a good read. Not my usual selection, but I fell in love with this book and character. Tried to find my copy to post a pic, but it grew wings. #oopsgiveaway @Librarybelle (Just starting my journey into Agatha Christie. Orient Express and ABC Murders completed so far.)

Librarybelle Thanks for entering! I have yet to read Ove, but have Bachman‘s Beartown checked out from the library. 6y
TamAnder @Librarybelle I‘ve been nervous to read anything further by the author as the bar was set pretty high. I‘ll look forward to your review of Beartown. 6y
TheBookKeepers I agree, wasn‘t my usual genre and I wasn‘t sure at first if I‘d like it. But it quickly became a favorite and reminded me a lot of someone special in my own life! I just started Beartown (10chapters in) & enjoying it a lot too! I usually don‘t like reading multiple books from the same author bc the writing style often feels redundant. But Beartown feels different than Ove, & love it so far. Backman just has impeccable writing skills. 6y

Oops...I did it again! I discovered I have two of the same editions of the pictured book. My mistake, but your gain!

I‘m doing an #oopsgiveaway for the book. Open to everyone...in a separate post, tag a book that completely surprised you - it could be you were surprised by how much you loved it or hated it, or even surprised that you own the book. Make sure to tag me & use the above hashtag. I‘ll take entries until June 12 @ 8pm EST. Good luck!
