I would just like to mention that "facetious" is a spectacular word that includes every vowel in alphabetical order... Aside from y, the weird non-committal vowel of doom. #english #studying #vocabulary #notquiteabookpost

I‘m new too :) Funny story....I learned the word facetious in 7th grade, and used it to terrorize boys, along the lines of...”If you think you‘re so cool, then spell facetious,” or “Don‘t worry, I‘m just being facetious.” (Said with mocking disdain). It was my favorite word for an entire summer, earned me the coveted title of ‘nerd‘, and kept those boys in their rightful place. 😂😂😂 6y
