pickThis book is truly heartbreaking. Beautiful and cruel, the relationship of David and Giovanni play out in a caricature of gender roles, drink, Paris, and the depths of humanity's ability to wound. I have only felt this depleted from reading when finishing A Good Life. #notholidayreading
