Pickpick

This was a very comprehensive bio. I never really saw this series but he seems to have been a very nice man who cared about children. Great narration!

Remembering Fred Rogers on the twentieth anniversary of his passing. He was such an integral part of my childhood - one of my first teachers. It‘s because of public television like Mister Rogers‘ Neighborhood, Sesame Street, and Reading Rainbow that I became a voracious reader.

Thank you, Mister Rogers, for creating a space safe for children to learn and imagine. It‘s you we like.

CBee My mom always said I learned to read from Sesame Street. And will always be thankful to and for Mr. Rogers ♥️♥️ 14mo
AnnR ♥️🤗 As a TV personality/role model for children, his gentle demeanor and kindness are greatly missed. There is no substitute. 14mo

dabbe Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, and [Hey, you guuuuuuyyyyyssss] The Electric Company ... a Gen X-ers childhood. Oh, and don't forget Schoolhouse Rock! #childhoodmemories ❣️ 14mo
ElizaMarie I absolutely love Mr. Rogers. I really felt we (or I) needed him at the start of the pandemic. He made everyone feels so calm and just heard. The movies about him are total tear jerkers! I just love love love him (and Grover and Reading Rainbow). 14mo

I loved this 2018 documentary so much. Really inspiring. I‘d like to try the tagged biography sometime.

I loved Mr. Rogers growing up, but this was too slow and uneventful for me. He was a rich, shy child and I felt that could have been summed up in a chapter as opposed to dragging it out.
