pickNo lie: I used to think Ron Paul was a kook. Now? Not so much. He was/is one of the only sane Federal public servants. (Rand Paul is in that mix, too). Excellent read. A lot of what he talks about I am seeing happen in our world and economy. All at the control at the hands of unelected people in unconstitutional control of the money system. Read this book.
Let's see if Ron can persuade me. Honestly, at this point in history, it should be an easy job to do so.
The Undefeated is a book with beautiful illustrations and emotional meaning. The book allows adults to teach kids about a tragic topic without being graphic. At the back of a book it connects historical figures with quotes throughout the book allowing the reader to move past the meaning full quotes to gain knowledge about figures and events featured through out the book.
pickIt took me till somewhere between pages 150 and 170 to finally become fully interested. Hang in there. A story of heroism and true corruption. A long and exhausting battle and interesting by play among the avatars.
Thought provoking, as always. Regardless of political persuasion, Buckley's intellect is to be admired.
pickWhen is a fantasy not a fantasy? This book is labeled a fantasy but it's not. No magic or magic users, no mystical creatures, no dragons, elves, dwarves or orcs. If it hadn't taken place in a fictional land, it could have been sold as straight up historical fiction. That said, it's still a great read, full of well rounded characters, thrilling chases, daring escapes and epic battle scenes 4 🛡🛡🛡🛡

pickI believe that it has to be universally understood, by those familiar with Murray Rothbard and libertarian ideas, that this book is his greatest creation. Skillfully and intelligently able to bring about several varying subjects and masterfully compiling them into an entirety of understanding. It is beyond a work of art, an essential book to read for anyone who is looking to increase their understanding of history and the workings of society.
This father-son duo (Dr.s Ron Paul and Rand Paul) are exemplary LEADers.
