Pickpick

Arizona sheriff Joanna Brady has to solve multiple murders in the novel. A trusted teacher is among those found murdered. The plot thickens when we find out the teacher is not who the public thought she was. Students are interviewed and are possible subjects of interest. The story has several different side line sub-plots which have the characters intertwined. If you enjoy J. A. Jance‘s writing you will enjoy this story.

J. P. Beaumont has double knee surgery. In probably drug induced dreams 2 ghosts come back & ask him to complete what he started.

Pro: mystery. Con: almost everything else. I especially *didn't* like the whole blog scenario. It seemed stupid, contrived, and unlikely. I felt like the MC presented as being sort of stupid in terms of what she was sharing in her blog. Not sure I'll continue with the series. Maybe.

This is my first JA Jance book and I have heard that her books are great reads but I just can't seem to get into this. My mom suggested this which made me want to like it even more!
Maybe I'll try again in a few months. Anyone else ever try a book later on? Did it work?
Onto the next!

My second in the series. Really not impressed. Main character is too gruff. Think this is the end of my time with J P.

Two murders yards apart seem to be related, but it takes Ali digging through all the twists & turns & figures in common to determine if that‘s true.

This book was short. Fast read. Still had plenty of substance. I liked the first book in the series better.

Honestly I didn't really like this one, it was boring and the characters will be nothing to have me thinking of them at all. A book I will not remember reading.

I think I give this a solid so-so. The main character blogs and the posts are part of the narrative- she gets preachy at times and veers from the story. #RwadingUSA2019 #Arizona Also, I‘m not liking the new version of PicCollage.

Librarybelle Bummer it wasn‘t as good as you had hoped it would be. But, another state down! 5y

1. Work and cleaning. So relaxing. 😂
3. Mustard, which should not even be considered food.
4. I tried. I even tried running. I was awful but I liked to run forever then.
