TheLudicReader I don‘t understand the “why”. Maybe if the graphic ‘novel‘ is a piece of non-fiction it belongs in that section, but otherwise why? 6y
Librarybelle At my library, we shelve graphic novels in fiction, unless of course it‘s a nonfiction graphic novel. But, I know a lot depends upon who‘s cataloging the book for the collection and who is selecting the book. We just found that patrons would find the books a lot easier if they were with the other fiction titles. 6y

JennAndrew I disagree with shelving them in non-fiction entirely, unless of course it‘s a non-fiction work. They‘re novels. We shelve them in their own section anyway (and someone just stole a load 😩😭), but it doesn‘t make much sense to me to put them in non-fic. We don‘t put picture books in children‘s non-fiction. 🤨🤔 6y
