It‘s literally THE RISE of Kobe Bryant from infancy through High School. It heavily focuses on his 4 years playing basketball for Lower Merion HS, just 3 miles down the street from where I lived. Kobe will forever be the #HomeTownHero but I was looking for a book more on Kobe the man, dad, husband. 👇🏽
Cinfhen Audio contains chilling home tapes recorded when he & Kobe were still in HS. Kobe was driven at such an early age. He was laser focused on playing professional basketball but his determination doesn‘t always come across as exemplary ( IMO). This book ends after his first season as an LA Laker. I loved all the hometown nostalgia but the book was a bit of a slough. 2y
