#NovemberNarrative Day 28: #CyberMonday as I furiously download the epicturebooks I have on Overdrive so I can return them and borrow all the holds that just came in. Craaaazy. Just four of the books I downloaded now so I can return them to borrow more.
Even though I follow TrickWoofs on Instagram, I had not seen this drawing, and it‘s exactly what I had to learn a few years ago for my labradoodle Bernie. My little Dood has about a 6-10 second processing delay. For a while I was taking classes where one goal was getting a quicker response from our dogs to our cues. That strategy didn‘t really work out for us. Now I give him a cue and time. He thinks and responds appropriately. #Harmony
I always love going big on Halloween month so hopefully I get through all of these!
Fun fact: Our town has paranormal investigators coming in to do some of our most haunted locations and I've ready got tickets! Personal bucket list item already on the go! I can't wait 👻

pickI grabbed After Dark to read because I was looking for a good story with ghosts and the like. This book sounded perfect but unfortunately the “ghosts“ in it were not really exciting at all. What was interesting was this alternate world and the powers the inhabitants possessed. The romance was more of a slow burn and I did like the main characters. Overall, After Dark was not what I was initially looking for but it was intriguing in the end.

pickI was so excited that she had a new Harmony book out because those are some of my favorites and it‘s been years since the last one.
The book was everything I love about this series. Dangerous moments with a paranormal theme, a smart and serious guy with a mission, one kick ass heroine who knows her worth and a dust bunny that adds all the humor and cuteness. Otis was my favorite part of the book of course.
