Girl Saves Boy was released in 2010 when author Steph Bowe was still a teenager. She then went on to write two more authentic, vivid novels, most recently Night Swimming, published in 2017. Yesterday, tragically she died undergoing a transplant required after being diagnosed with Lymphoma only a year ago. She was 25. She was part of my Qld Literary awards judging panel last year. She grew into a formidable young woman, wise & warm. Vale Steph

so-soThe artwork was really weird. On some pages it made it hard to tell what was going on. Basic knowledge of greek mythology and the Odyssey keeps you on track. Typically, I dig gender-bending, but I finished this not giving a crap if Odyssia gets home. It was alright, some parts I found interesting, but I likely won't try and find the next volume.
