Anne of Windy Poplars is the 4th book in the Anne of Green Gables series. I haven‘t been enjoying the series that much but they have been getting better with each book so I‘ll continue at some point as I do own them all.

TheAromaofBooks Even though this chronologically the fourth book, Montgomery wrote it later than most of the others. There are a lot of things I really love about it, but it's also kind of its own isolated story to avoid continuity issues with the books she'd already written that take place later in Anne's life, so I think it does have a different flavor than some of the other books. 13mo

TheAromaofBooks I have read (and loved) these books all my life, and I just found out that Windy Poplars and Anne of Ingleside were written out of order! 13mo
