This is a funny counting book that explores the infinite possibilities of zero. #underthedustcover

Prefect book for kids learning about place value. The creation of the realm of digitaria makes it interesting and a overall fun read.

Picturebook. Fun book to learn about about place value. It also review and previews addition and multiplication. This book takes the reader on an adventure through the land of Digitaria and make learning about place interesting and fun. The illustrations really bring the story to life and make you want to read more about the land of digitaria.

This wasn‘t remarkable, but it did a good job of making a complicated abstract concept concrete and relatable for kids. And they‘ll enjoy counting “up to” zero along with the refrain of the book. #BBRCPictureBookLetterZ @LibrarianRyan

So over all this was a good book, but I dont get this page. All the others were representing 0 and this shows billions of stars, totally opposite of 0.

Sarahreadstoomuch 😂 kids will totally get that! #sarcasm 3y
tjwill Hmm, maybe since it says the sound of the stars, not the stars themselves. But the concept of sound can‘t *exactly* be counted, so...? 🤔 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3y

I like the subtle, diverse illustrations in this book, which shows young readers what zero looks like...when ducks leave a pond or when there are no more leaves on a tree, as an example. It‘s a hard concept to describe to young readers, & I‘m not quite sure all of the phrases work well in the telling - zero sounds like snow falling on a mitten, for instance. But, bravo for depicting a diverse group of kids throughout the book. Letter Z #BBRC #A2Z

I finished up the first section of my #BBRC books today. I ended with the tagged book, Zero. It was a lot of fun to pick out children‘s books to read. I even found some from my childhood that I remember enjoying.
