*Currently 130; pages into the tagged, which I'm very much enjoying. Thrawn may very well be my favorite SW villain of all-time.
*Two stories into a crime anthology: A Darker Shade of Sweden.
* Halfway through the novella ebook of David Sodergren's “Hard Luck Jenny,“ which reads like an Edgar Wright movie with a screenplay by Sodergren.

Finishing The Black Flamingo and hopefully Midnight in Chernobyl this weekend. MC is pretty hefty and I have things to do this weekend that—horrors—don‘t include reading.

Pickpick

A lot of great information and insight. Hopeful, but not saccharine. A deep dive into how creatures evolved over time to survive the harshest conditions and how many of them are fighting for survival against the onslaught of climate change. Good if you like biology or science books. Not too technical.

Reading I Am Malala as an ebook. Switching between it and Men Who Hate Women. I‘m listening to In Praise of Paths. The author was diagnosed with epilepsy and had to stop driving, so he took to walking everywhere. The book is meditative and calm. #weekendreads

TrishB You‘ll need the calm to counteract Men Who Hate Women…. 1w
BookishMarginalia Malala has a new memoir I'm looking forward to reading. 1w
KathyWheeler @TrishB Seriously! 1w
KathyWheeler @BookishMarginalia I read about that. That‘s why I thought I‘d finally read her first one. 1w
