Plated: Weeknight Dinners, Weekend Feasts, and Everything in Between | Elana Karp, Suzanne Dumaine, Suzanne Lehrer
post image

Speaking of #cookbooklove, this Plated cookbook is another I've recently acquired (not pictured here because @MrBook and I tidied up our book piles—and now I can't find it 😛). I'm a Plated subscriber, I love their meals. They send great recipe cards (w/ gorg pics) that I've put into this cute binder. Their dishes are fancy and gourmet, complicated and time consuming, but delish! 🍴I'd love to hear others (easier ones) you've tried and recommend!

TheBookAddict Those do look nice. I like your binder as well! I enjoy the Taste of Home Cookbooks. There are so many recipes that I wish I could try. 😆 I just need the time, the kitchen and fridge space, and the money to buy all of the ingredients...oh and the appetite to eat it all. 😂 7y
andreadmw There was a recipe group I remember hearing about on the All the Books podcast. Prepdish dot com. They are not that beautiful but you get recipes and shopping lists for easy nightly meals. 7y
Donna_sBookMinute "Plated" sounds like the perfect book for admiring food photos. And I enjoy your and @MrBook's photo compositions. Presentation goes a long way. 7y

MicheleinPhilly I ❤️ Plated! Meal planning and grocery shopping is one of my least favorite chores so I find it to be damn near perfect. I've also used Blue Apron and should really steal this idea to organize the mountain of recipe cards. 7y
Crewgurl I use Blue Apron. Fancy, but not complicated. Some are more time consuming than others, but love it! I can have them send you an offer for a free box of you send me your email address 😊 7y
Victoria_C We've settled on Home Chef as our go to service. We have used Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, Plated and Chef'd! All have their good/bad points. Home Chef is more homestyle meals and more weekly choices than some of the others. 7y
BookBabe @MicheleinPhilly I'm with you! Meal planning is much more fun when someone else does it, and you only need to read mouth-watering descriptions and look at gorgeous photos to make your selections! 😍 And I loathe grocery shopping as well. 7y
BookBabe @MicheleinPhilly Absolutely, putting the cards in a nice binder makes them so much more enjoyable. And you get a sense of triumph as you leaf through the pages and think "Yep, I made all these!" Etsy has some one-of-a-kind cute recipe binders. 7y
BookBabe @Crewgurl Awesome! Would you please? My email is jenbissu [at] me [dot] com ... thanks! 😊👍🏻 7y
BookBabe @Victoria_C Wow, nice! You've experienced them all—that's great. If you can send me a referral link to try Home Chef (I know Plated does it), I would appreciate it! My email is jenbissu [at] me [dot] com 😊🍴 7y
Victoria_C Sent! It's a $50 trial week it says. For 2 people, I think that should get you 2 meals. We pay $119 for 3 meals for 4 people. You do the math!! LOL. 7y
BookBabe @Victoria_C thanks! 😊 7y
BookBabe By the way, if anyone wants to try Plated and have gourmet ingredients and recipes delivered to your door, leave your email below and I'll tag you with a savings code. 🙂 7y
Crewgurl Done! Let me know how you like it! 7y
BookBabe @Crewgurl thanks! 😊 Will do! 7y
LitsyGoesPostal 😎👍🏻 7y
Jinjer I used Home Chef for a year but now I‘m tired of the same old meals and the “peel & chop carrots on an angle”. #NoMoreCarrots I tried Plated thanks to your link, and several others. Now I need to go back to one of them. Meal planning on my own is too stressful! 6y
