I‘ve wanted to reread THE LONG SECRET ever since I reread HARRIET THE SPY a few years back, and I finally found a copy in a Little Free Library near the park! (The public library discarded it ages ago and the local used market couldn‘t oblige me.) I dove in over a chocolate stout cupcake with salted caramel icing (delish) and a cappuccino (substandard, especially after the awesome one I had earlier this week).
