Day 27 of #ChillingPhotoChallenge “Scarecrow” just might be my favorite Batman villain, but only when played by Cillian Murphy! Those eyes are just amazing!

So far so good 👍 James Tynion's writing is evocative.
Tynion IV continues his run of great storytelling as an ominous new threat looms down on Gotham.
This is my favorite current DC title. Batwoman helps Batman assemble a team of former villains--Orphan, Spoiler, and Clayface--along with Red Robin to fight crime. Tynion IV is a great storyteller.
This may be the least entertaining Batman comic/graphic novel I‘ve read in a while. I don‘t know why. It seems very disjointed. But I still gave it four stars on Goodreads because Batman.
Book one of the #24in48 #readathon. Whoa this was intense! I love the discussion of the unintended consequences of Batman's war.
Off to a late start. Slept in way late because I was exhausted from crying. I'm not sure I'll hit 24 hours but I'll try.
Still pretty rough in the dialogue and some of the pacing and action beats don't hold together as well as you would hope, but overall still a good team superhero book that makes strong use of the wide-ranging cast of characters. Tynion is showing signs of improvement over his less engaging earlier work, though it is still much too blunt, and the art here is wildly uneven, but on the whole, DETECTIVE COMICS is still working for me, if only barely.
Started this morning with a great breakfast and a comic book. Holidays are here.
