bailedThis one was a chunkster at 836 pages. I made it to almost the halfway point and couldn't finish. I just didn't get it. What is the author trying to say or show the reader???? I struggled to connect with the characters and the plot was no help either. Therefore, I bailed to spare myself further agony.

RamsFan1963 @TheSpineView @Ruthiella I finished it on audio, but I understand anyone who bailed. It's not a good book, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I don't know what the author was trying to say, I felt at times there was no point other than to shock, disgust or bewilder the reader. The plot, what there was of it, was beside the point. I began to wonder if anything was happened or if everything since day 1 was all in the Kidd's head. 1mo
