Weaponxgirl @KathyWheeler thanks. I do own that but I started it when I wasn‘t in good headspace for the content but I will try again at some point as I know that if I hit in the right mood I‘m going to love. 5y

suzisteffen @Weaponxgirl @KathyWheeler I think Parable of the Sower is a good start without the time travel component. But yes, Kindred is rightly famous. The Xenogensis series is intense about bodily integrity and family ties and species ties in ways that the Parable books aren‘t. 5y

suzisteffen @Weaponxgirl tbh I had Kindred in print for like a decade before I saw it available as a library ebook and read it that way last November, so I UNDERSTAND. 😂 (and it‘s great! WTF was I doing?!) 5y
