The Daleks seem to be on the prowl...but they say they're helping end the plague? Hmmm.
(Also of note: David Tennant is in this volume of Dalek Empire. I grinned like a fool when he started speaking :D)
pickI‘d intended to review each story in this set separately, but they all work seamlessly as four parts of a whole. It‘s basically Spearhead from Space for the 21st century, minus the Doctor. This makes it sound derivative, but it‘s a good listen. The story moves at a breakneck pace and there‘s lots of action. Tense dialogue but not too shouty, and hey, there's Osgood! The ending was quite interesting; it could make a neat sequel.

This is the CYBERMEN origin story. Nysa & the fifth doctor bumble onto their home planet & it‘s a mad race to try and not help the cybermen advance their technology.
Adric is brought up. The morality of helping/not helping the pre-cybermen. And where did the gold being used as a weapon go? Can history be changed? Cybermats!!!
