Laughterhp I‘ve never read Rick Riordan. Do you have to have already read Percy Jackson to enjoy these? (That‘s the only series I know). 4mo

PuddleJumper @Laughterhp It's a bit yes/no from what I can tell. Heroes of Olympus is a different series, different characters but set in the same universe as Percy Jackson and I think there's a bit of crossover with side characters. I don't think you need to have read the Percy Jackson books though 4mo

mom2bugnbee @Laughterhp You definitely do NOT need to have read Percy Jackson for any of the other series besides Heroes of Olympus, because the others are completely different universes. Knowing PJ helps with Heroes of Olympus, but not strictly required. 4mo

mom2bugnbee I just re-read The Lost Hero, so I'll join you in February! Been planning a re-read of Heroes of Olympus & Kane, & I haven't read any of the Norse or Apollo books! 4mo

PuddleJumper @mom2bugnbee Sounds great! I've not read any of the new stuff. I finished PJ when I was a teenager and never got around to the newer stuff. I'm looking forward to the Kane and Magnus Chase ones 4mo
