Pontypool Changes Everything
Pontypool Changes Everything: Movie Edition | Tony Burgess
5 posts | 3 read | 8 to read
A compelling, terrifying story of a devastating virus. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to kill someone, or wondered, in your darkest secret thoughts, about the taste of human flesh? What if you woke up and began your morning by devoting the rest of your life to a murderous rampage, a never-ending cannibalistic spree? And what if you were one of thousands who shared the same compulsion? This book depicts just such as an epidemic. You catch it through conversation and it leads you into another world where the undead chase you down the streets.

I went to another book sale. For shame! There‘s another one next weekend and I am going! Maybe I should go back to this one tomorrow? No! I can‘t. Well, my husband will be gone all day so I guess what he doesn‘t know won‘t hurt him? Whiskers approves.

erank58 NEVER any shame 😊 5y
JacqMac Well, as long as Whiskers approves, who are we to argue. 😊 5y

Maybe I am just not in the right mood, but 60 pages in and I was not at all invested. Normally I try to go w a bit longer than that but...onward to other tales

So far I am not sure that I understand any of this. There have been a couple of pov, and at least one is unreliable. But I intend to keep going a bit and see if it is actually leading somewhere.
