This beautiful and informative picture book follows a single tree through the fall season, from the end of summer to winter s first snowfall. A great read-aloud for home and the classroom by the New York Times bestselling creator of My Heart Is Like a Zoo and Red: A Crayon s Story.Wonderfall follows a single tree through the changing of the seasons. People, animals, and vehicles pass in front of the tree, celebrating holidays, playing in its leaves, and getting ready for winter. Fifteen combined words (thankful + fall = thankFALL, plentiful + fall = plentiFALL) underscore the themes and concepts of the season, while the main attraction the beautiful tree drops acorns, loses leaves, and provides food and a home for a pair of scurrying squirrels. Two full spreads at the back of the book offer additional information about the animals featured in the book, as well as the science behind squirrels, acorns, and saplings. "

Fall is my favorite season so I love any story about fall time. I think students would love to be read this as the leaves are changing. It would be fun for the students to go outside after reading this story and examine trees/leaves.

Wonderfall is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Michael Hall. It is beautiful and informative picture book follows a single tree through the fall season. The illustrations allow children to understand how trees and leaves change throughout fall. The children can relate to how their lives and themselves change throughout the year. The pictures use different colors to show different time periods.

This book would be great to use in the fall season. During free time this book could be accompanied with allowing students to try different apples that are big in the fall and reading this book and even allowing students to add stuff about each poem, or what they find beatifall about each focus of the book.

This book focuses on the use of fall colors and plays on words that end in 'ful' and replacing them with fall. There are small 10-15 word poems on each page that would not be as impactful without the drawings around them. There is a slight use of perspective, but the most impactful design choice would have to be using fall themed colors to portray each play on word in connection with fall.

In the story Wonderfall, there are mini poems on each page that each end with “fall“. Many of the pages have white backgrounds but the illustrations have so many colors in them that it takes up the whole page. In some of the illustrations there is foreshadowing of animals or characters that show up on the next page. There's a few pages where the background is blue but the colors used for the animals and people is vibrant and stands out.

I would use this book in my classroom to explain fall. This book talks about what goes into the fall time. Including, the leaves falling, halloween, and the start of colder weather.

Wonderfall, a P by Michael Hall is a beautifully illustrated story composed of poems that would be great for S in the classroom. Each page includes a short poem describing events taking place in the fall, all of which use the suffix -fall. It‘s perfect to use in the fall months. UDL 2.2 clarify syntax/structure( characteristics of a poem) EL 14- simplify speech. #UCFLAE3414F17
